How do I get ready for my first visit with a professional organizer?
You do not need to get ready for a professional organizer to come to your house. It is better is she or he sees it in its regular state so they can judge how long the job will take.

NO, professional organizing does not do house cleaning or keeping of any sort. Organizing is a profession of helping and teaching people to better organize their lives and to help them develop better skills to be more efficient.

No, today we have lives that are very busy and people get overwhelmed when they start to get organized and this is where a professional organizer can help.

Is being unorganized a moral issue?
Just because you have a messy desk, untidy closet and drawers, and you don’t show up on time, it is not an indication that you are a person of inferior character. It just means that you have more things than time.

Each organizing job is different, but Mary works with her clients, helping them to get to a more organized and healthy place in an efficient manor.

What can Mary do for a person with ADD?
A person with ADD has to struggle to concentrate on certain things and I have learned that working with them can be a lesson in patients for me, but at the same time I have the ability to keep bringing the person back to what we are work at, in a gentle way and help them to focus on the task at hand.

How can seniors be helped?
Seniors have had an entire life to develop their belongings, papers and memories. Mary can help them to decide what they want to do with each one of their special treasurers and will coach them in the process of making decisions, if there are decisions to be made. |
