About Mary SommerladMary Sommerlad has been doing organizing professionally since 1997 and loves what she does. She has always been organized and after raising two children successfully has While she works with clients everything that is discussed is confidential and Mary holds that piece of her business in high esteem. As they move along in their process of decluttering, Mary coaches her clients to get to a clearer place. She asks questions, and when it is appropriate the stop organizing and talk about what they are doing. One client had Mary in to help clean out her office. When they got to a box that had a lot of loaded stuff in it, the client went to the other side of the room, Mary gently brought her back to the box. When the client seemed uneasy Mary asked what was going on. She said that the box was too difficult to tackle. Right then Mary presented a solution to the problem, she suggested that it would be easier for them to do it together and they could go as slow as she wanted. It took a few hours to do and when it was done that client danced around the room because it was something she was avoiding for years and it felt great to be done with it.

Mary has a very calming way about her and she is dependable, supportive and compassionate. Her sense of humor always brings a light side to the situation and she feels that this is a very important factor in organizing because people are always ashamed or embarrassed about the clutter they have. Mary always tell clients that to get unorganized today is not hard, with paper coming at us from all different directions and junk mail at a premium. She bring many suggestions to cut down on the clutter and supports the efforts of her clients.
